Planning Your Trip to Orlando Florida

Thinking about planning a trip to Orlando Florida? Are you looking for the best deals and tips that Orlando has to offer? If yes, let someone like myself, a person who has not only lived in the community for the past 36 years, but can also offer you some knowledgeable ideas for planning your vacation.

Trip to Orlando Florida
The first thing to be aware of in regards to theme parks are to be cautious of any scams where people will try to sell you time shares or offer “free Disney tickets”. Some could possibly be a hoax and of those that may be legitimate, the amount of time and aggravation that you may have to go through in order to get your “free” tickets will not be worth it in the end.

However, my cousin has become quite adept at this by listening to their sales pitches and has gotten numerous tickets for free of charge. I’m bewildered as to why she continues to do this, but she does. If you are still interested in considering this an inexpensive travel Orlando option, and are willing to try your hand at it, follow her simple guidelines; find out how long the sales pitch will last and make sure they follow through on it; Don’t take “no” for an answer; Be strong and never allow them to sway you from what you came there to achieve, which is free tickets or other offers.

Ready for more inexpensive travel tips to Orlando? Let’s talk restaurants. Don’t limit yourself to areas located near theme parks. There are many local “secrets” with excellent fare that are inexpensive. I highly suggest venturing away from the touristy areas in the city of Orlando. Here are a couple of my recommendations. If you are in the mood for Italian food, Amalfi Italian Restaurant and Pizza is a super place. It’s located at 523 South Chicasaw Trail. When I was working in the area I dined there qite often. Unfortunately, I’m not as close by anymore, but would still make the trek as it’s worth it for the great food and excellent prices. By driving a little out of your way into the surrounding area of Apopka you will find another treasure. Catfish Place has the best southern seafood in the area and is considered quite the hidden gem amongst the locals. I truly love this place. When you visit try the catfish, hush puppies and cole slaw – the works!

My final inexpensive recommendation for traveling Orlando is to rent a car. Make sure to shop around online to determine cheap rental cars. I have found Enterprise to be extremely helpful and inexpensive having used them exclusively for many years without any problems. However, you may uncover a great deal online by using Travelocity or any other online agencies. Orlando is a vast area with a lot of ground to cover, and traveling by public transportation would be too difficult. It’s simply much less inexpensive to travel by car rental Orlando.
