Unfortunately, I’m not as close by anymore, but would still make the trek as it’s worth it for the great food and excellent prices. By driving a little out of your way into the surrounding area of Apopka you will find another treasure. Catfish Place has the best southern seafood in the area and is considered quite the hidden gem amongst the locals. I truly love this place. When you visit try the catfish, hush puppies and cole slaw – the works!

My final inexpensive recommendation for traveling Orlando is to rent a car. Make sure to shop around online to determine cheap rental cars. I have found Enterprise to be extremely helpful and inexpensive having used them exclusively for many years without any problems. However, you may uncover a great deal online by using Travelocity or any other online agencies. Orlando is a vast area with a lot of ground to cover, and traveling by public transportation would be too difficult. It’s simply much less inexpensive to travel by car rental Orlando.
